The pre- and post- treating chemicals used today meet the needs for color stabilization, durability, and longevity in freeze dried flowers. Flower Facts You Should Be Aware Of: After Preservation, if your floral art piece is kept out of direct sunlight, hot lamps and heavy moisture you can receive decades of enjoyment. Please let your florist know you will be having your bouquet preserved and that they should be as fresh as possible. White flowers have a tendency to become more yellow, ivory more creamy, Reds darker and pinks peachier. All preserved flowers will change over time as any art work does. We seal in the color as best as we can using sealing chemicals.
